Can't recommend highly enough. My husband and I have trained with Luke for over 4 years on a weekly basis - both outdoors (at our local park) and online when commitments get in the way. Luke has had an incredible impact on our health & fitness and resultant approach to life! Every session is different, and individualised based on where we are at with fitness, energy and goals. Added bonus - Luke is an osteo so super helpful when managing injury.
Luke puts the Professional in PT. He takes training to a whole new level with science and evidence. We train outdoors and Luke is adept at using what’s available to always push to me to my limits. Most importantly Luke makes me feel supported. Let’s just say I am not a fan of gyms. I’ve struggled with weight and body image my entire life. Luke pushes me when I need to be but is sensitive to my extensive emotional baggage. Yes, I’ve lost weight and got stronger but Luke teaches a healthy perspective on fitness that means I don’t get caught up with a loss or gain of a few kilograms. He’s also helped with me eating healthier. Highly recommend.
When I started training with Dr Luke Dewberry in 2017, I had a number of chronic issues and ongoing concerns. Luke was completing his Osteopathy degree and I started benefitting from his extensive knowledge and understanding of how the body works immediately. I have a complicated medical history with several surgeries over the last 5 years, but each time Luke gets up to speed on the issue and helps me plan a way to work around the limitations, rehab back to health and still continue to achieve my goals. I train weekly from home over Skype with basic equipment and Luke manages to vary each session to keep things interesting, fun and challenging. Since training with Luke, I've been able to see my Physio far less often, lost 20kgs thanks to his nutritional advice, improved my upper body strength, increased my mobility and achieved countless functional improvements along the way...
